no to hetalia I guess

quote:

"It humanizes historic conflicts by putting faces on them, while still putting forth the idea that there is no such thing as an "evil" country. It's not saying anything about the actions of a country, since it deliberately avoids trying to moralize or excuse, but countries themselves can be selfish, or weak, or dumb, or greedy, but still be worth caring about. Because that's where people live, and people are all of those things."

Good convos.

First heard of it when it was still a manga, and I thought:

'LOLOLOL how cool sooo many moe bishounens ahaha it should be funny, it's just parody people should be cool with it blah blah.'

But my love for history just got bigger and deeper, world war 2 specially.
There are enough films, books out there that humanize war.
To me ww2, even though I was born 40+ years later, is as personal as it can get.
So NO, I'm avoiding this boat.
(And really, I'm over the edge now about animu in general.
There are only very few now that I'd watch and read.)

I just want to make it official hah.
If there are those that make humongous praises and communities for it, then I am at least allowed to do this.
