recent lessons about time

Alice Through the Looking Glass
(2016)

“I used to think time was a thief. But you give before you take. Time is a gift. Every minute. Every second.” –Alice Kingsleigh

The Theory of Everything
(2014)

Just saw this and there really are no specific quotes, but there were scenes that hit me. I remember him being new to the wheelchair and I thought it was so sad, but then he said:

Stephen: I will write a book.
Jane: About what?
Stephen: Time.

It came through so optimistic to me.

Also the ending, after he met Queen Liz which should be the greatest honor in the film, at the gardens and said he'll write another book:

Jane: What you're writing?
Stephen: Look what we made.

^ while looking at their children. :'D

Because it's never enough to get a reminder that it's about what we've made with what we were given.
